About Me.

My path to becoming a therapist was deeply shaped by one of the most meaningful experiences of my life—being my mother’s caregiver. Supporting her through the daily realities of living with a chronic illness was both challenging and transformative. It taught me about the depth of human connection, the nuances of care, and the quiet, enduring nature of resilience. That experience continues to inform how I show up in the therapy room—with compassion, presence, and a deep respect for each person’s story.

I was born and raised in rural Manitoba, and I’ve called Toronto home since 2007. I’m also raising two children here—an experience that constantly reminds me of life’s complexity, beauty, and unpredictability. These personal and geographic roots shape the way I connect with people: with warmth, pragmatism, and a belief in the strength that lives in all of us.

I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and a fully licensed member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. I abide by both associations’ ethical standards and am committed to ongoing professional development and supervision.

I completed my psychotherapy training at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a rigorous program grounded in humanistic, relational, and trauma-informed approaches. I also completed the one-year professional training at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto, which deepened my ability to work experientially and with embodied awareness.

Before training as a therapist, I earned a BA in Conflict Transformation Studies from the University of Winnipeg. It was there that I first encountered family systems theory and attachment science—foundational ideas that continue to inform how I understand healing, development, and human connection.

I currently run a virtual private practice serving clients across Ontario. While most of my sessions take place online, I also can offer limited in-person appointments at my office in Toronto.

I work with adults, couples, and fellow therapists, and I continue to participate in workshops, supervision, and peer consultation as part of my ongoing commitment to ethical, attuned, and relational care. My pronouns are she/her.

It’s a privilege to do this work. I’m here to support you in finding clarity, connection, and meaningful change. With each client, I aim to co-create a space that is grounded in trust, care, and possibility. I’m so glad you’re here.

With gratitude,

FAQ’s

  • I charge a sliding scale of $160-$180 for a 50min Session. I believe that therapy should be accessible. I keep a limited number of spots open for low cost clients based on financial need. If cost is a concern, please feel free to reach out—I'm happy to discuss options with you.

  • Yes. I work exclusively online with clients across Ontario, BC, Alberta, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. Therapy from the comfort of your own space can be just as impactful as in-person sessions, with added flexibility and convenience.

  • I offer a free 15-minute introductory consultation — a chance for us to connect and see if we’re a good match. We’ll talk a bit about what’s bringing you to therapy, your previous experiences (if any), and what you’re hoping to get from our time together. It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for my style and see if it feels like the right fit for you.

  • Most clients start with weekly or biweekly sessions. We can adjust based on what feels right for you.

  • Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for short-term support over a few months, while others choose to stay longer for more in-depth work. The approach I use often lends itself to longer-term therapy, but ultimately, the pace and length are up to you. We’ll check in along the way to discuss cadence of sessions. If you decide to take a break, I do my very best to make room in my practice for you to come back.
